Main features
The Hidro hood is manufactured in a single piece up to 6.5 m and features three filtration stages:
1st Stage – Mechanical Filtration Designed to retain grease using Morgui inertial plate filters, made of AISI 430 stainless steel, measuring 490×490×50 mm.
2nd Stage – Water Filtration Thanks to uniform water spraying, it achieves:
1. Cooling the first-stage filters, significantly increasing their filtration efficiency due to the condensation effect.
2. Settling moisture and grease droplets that have passed through the first stage and are drawn in by the airflow.
(Water consumption is 0.3 l/min per outlet, at 2 bars pressure, with no pressure pump required).
3rd Stage – Mechanical Filtration Designed to separate water droplets using Morgui inertial plate filters, also made of AISI 430 stainless steel, measuring 490×400×25 mm.
To help save water, it is recommended to connect the hood’s drainage system to the Morgui Exclusive Water Recirculation Module. Through mechanical and settling filtration, this module allows reusing water from water-based grease filtration systems, as in the case of the Hidro extractor hood.

Visible parts made of 1 mm thick AISI 304 stainless steel sheet. External non-visible tubular structure made of galvanized steel. Non-visible external tubular structure and ceiling made of galvanized steel.
Construction
Hood fully welded in a single piece up to 6.5 m. For larger sizes, the construction is modular. Manufactured with an external non-visible tubular structure that provides great robustness to the assembly, with no visible screws or joints that could cause dripping or dirt accumulation. All sheet metal edges have double folds to prevent possible cuts. The lower edge of the front is rounded to avoid accidental impacts. All exhaust plenums include balancing dampers. The supply plenum features internal insulation to prevent condensation. Custom-built on demand, with all kinds of adaptations for beams, columns, and other structural elements.
Standard finish
Satin finish on all visible stainless steel surfaces. Includes the Morgui logo on the left side of the front panel. Air supply is provided through perforations on the front. See the customization section for all available configuration and adaptation options.
Drainage
Grease collection channel fully welded around the entire perimeter of the hood and connected to the main tray, at the bottom of the filter collector. The tray includes a drainage plug.

1st filtration stage: AISI 430 stainless steel plate filters, glossy (e=0.4), 490×490×50 mm. Standard DIN 18869-5:2007-08. Included with the hood.
3rd filtration stage: AISI 430 stainless steel plate filters, glossy (e=0.4), 490×400×25 mm. Standard DIN 18869-5:2007-08. Included with the hood.
