In many premises, doors remain open for long periods, causing significant losses of conditioned air and high energy costs. Properly installed air curtains provide substantial energy savings.
Air curtains with Thermozone technology deliver optimized performance, ensuring indoor comfort without draughts and with low noise levels. They also prevent the entry of pollutants and insects.
Installation
Recommended installation height for Portier is 2.5 m. The unit is installed horizontally, with the discharge grille facing downwards and positioned as close as possible to the doorway. Several mounting options are available: Wall mounting with dedicated bracket kit Ceiling mounting using pendulum kit and suspension brackets
The unit can be suspended using wires or threaded rods. Minimum clearance between the air outlet and the floor must be 1800 mm. Wider openings can be covered by installing multiple units in series using a joining kit.
Connection Electrical connection is made at the top of the unit. Control (230V~) and heating power supply (400V 3~) are connected to terminal blocks in the junction box. For electric heating units, power supply and control must be connected separately.
