Recessed Air Curtain for Commercial Premises AR3200C Frico
Thanks to its compact dimensions and integrated frame, installation is simple. The frame and panel finish can be customized in any colour to blend seamlessly with the environment.
Main features
In many premises, doors remain open for long periods, causing significant losses of heated or cooled air and high energy costs. Properly installed air curtains provide substantial energy savings.
Air curtains with Thermozone technology deliver optimized performance, ensuring indoor comfort without draughts and with low noise levels. They also prevent the entry of pollutants and insects.
Frico air curtains are designed and manufactured in Sweden, in one of Europe’s most advanced air and acoustic laboratories.
Installation
Recommended installation height is 3.2 m for electric/ambient units and 2.8 m for water-heated units. Designed for installation in false ceilings. The unit can be suspended using threaded rods (accessory), mounted either externally or internally. Installed horizontally with the discharge grille facing downwards, as close to the door as possible. Wider openings can be covered by installing multiple units in series.
Connection Maintenance and servicing are easily performed via the bottom service hatch. Electrical connection can be made from the side or top of the unit. Control (230V~) and heating power supply (400V 3~) are connected to terminal blocks in the junction box. Water-heated units connect to the internal water circuit via top or side connections. Flexible hoses are available as accessories. These units must always be complemented with an external valve kit. Several connection kits are available to simplify installation.
Control
The control system is integrated into the unit. It can be operated via remote control or via the control panel inside the service hatch. An optional door switch (PA2DR) can be added to enable automatic operation.
Water-heated units require a valve system to regulate water flow and activate heating only when needed. Additional smart accessories are also available.
