Main features
Any installation designed for air supply, extraction, or ventilation must be accompanied by proper filtration. According to UNE 16282:18, a filtration classification of IDA 2 must be met, as indicated in EN 13779:07.
When G4 + F7 filters are installed in series, the G4 captures the large particles and protects the F7, which handles the finer particles. Efficiencies are not additive, but the overall system performance is improved:
PM10: more than 95–98 % retained PM2.5: same as a single F7, around 80–90 % PM1: between 50–65 %
In the ISO 16890 classification, this combination would be approximately: ISO ePM2.5 65–80 % and ISO ePM10 >95 %.
Maintenance is essential to extend filter life, and periodic replacement is important. Its plenum-accessible design allows easy maintenance and filter replacement when they become clogged.
A transformation is required to fit the ventilation box and a protective hood for outdoor installation.
