COMEFRI high-efficiency turbines are specially designed to provide high volume and pressure, while maintaining smooth, vibration-free operation.
Main features
The fans are supplied with forward-curved, inserted impeller blades made of galvanized steel. The impeller blades are secured by an insertion system through the centre plate and side rings. The centre hub is connected to the plate and is precision-machined to receive the fan shaft.
The semi-reinforced (R) series is manufactured with side frames and a crosshead. The reinforced (T) series is manufactured with a cubic frame and cast iron bearing supports.
Construction
COMEFRI high-efficiency impellers are specially designed to deliver high flow rates and pressures while maintaining smooth, vibration-free operation. Even at high peripheral speeds, the fans remain stable. The impellers are statically and dynamically balanced according to VDI 2060 and ISO 1940/1, grade G 6.3. The impeller diameters follow the R20 series according to DIN 323.
All fans are supplied as standard with sealed, pre-lubricated, maintenance-free ball bearings. These are inspected before assembly to ensure quiet operation. The bearings have an L10 service life of 20,000 hours under maximum performance conditions. The speed and power limits must not be exceeded. Pulleys should be mounted as close as possible to the fan bearing.
