Circular Silencers
Silencers are essential accessories for minimizing the acoustic impact of installations. Reducing potential nuisance noise to third parties helps avoid many complications in the future.
Main features
Morgui circular acoustic silencers have been designed with a helical outer tube and an inner tube made of perforated steel sheet.
Description -The space between the tubes is filled with acoustic mineral wool. A polyester fabric is placed between the perforated steel sheet and the sound-insulating material to prevent the mineral wool from being carried away by the airflow. -Circular acoustic silencers are supplied as standard with the SPIRO® system* and in standard lengths of 300, 600, 900, 1,200 and 1,500 mm, depending on the connection diameter.
*The SPIRO® system incorporates an ageing-resistant EPDM rubber gasket that ensures airtightness and long-lasting joints between ducts, unaffected by temperature changes. All units not only meet but exceed Class C airtightness requirements.

Materials
-1 mm thick galvanized steel sheet. -Acoustic insulation made of 40 kg/m³ mineral rock wool with a black fire-retardant veil to prevent particle release.
SLU
Circular silencer with 50 mm insulation, in lengths of 900 or 1,200 mm. Available diameters range from 125 mm to 250 mm.
SLGU
Circular silencer with 100 mm insulation, in lengths of 900 or 1,200 mm. Available diameters range from 125 mm to 710 mm. For diameters equal to or greater than 315 mm, two loose NPU-type couplings are included and must be inserted before installing the silencer.
SLBGU
Circular silencer with 100 mm insulation, in lengths of 900 or 1,200 mm. It incorporates a central core (baffle). Available diameters range from 315 mm to 710 mm. The silencer includes two loose NPU-type couplings that must be inserted before installing the silencer.
BSLU
The circular silencer bend is designed for use in ventilation systems where space or other constraints prevent the installation of straight silencers. -With 50 mm insulation and lengths of 200, 240, 305 and 370 mm. Available diameters range from 125 mm to 315 mm. -With 100 mm insulation and lengths of 260, 280, 325, 370, 375, 420, 485 and 610 mm. Available diameters range from 125 mm to 630 mm. BSLU bends up to diameters of 315 mm are supplied with fixed LindabSafe connections. From 315 mm upwards, they are supplied with loose NPU-type couplings.
