The Morgui brand, specialized in air ventilation, extraction, and treatment solutions, has reached an important milestone with its innovative Tossa extractor hood. This product has been awarded a Bronze Delta in the interior equipment category by the Industrial Design Association (ADI-FAD).
The Delta Awards, held biennially since 1961, are among the most prestigious accolades in the field of industrial design in Spain. These awards recognize excellence in product design that stands out for both aesthetic quality and functionality.
The Tossa hood perfectly combines industrial design and functionality with domestic aesthetics and comfort.
According to its designer, Roger Morguí, “the Tossa hood evokes the most classic designs, where a sloped shape always acts as a funnel and guides the smoke toward the extraction point.”
Morgui is able to apply its extensive experience in the design and manufacturing of industrial hoods to smaller commercial kitchens and private kitchens.
As a standout feature compared to domestic hoods currently available on the market, the Tossa model has open sides to enhance the feeling of space, and a dual collector system—both front and rear—interconnected for greater suction capacity. It also features inclined filters that improve grease filtration through decantation and prevent the typical drips. The Tossa hood also includes Morgui’s signature details: manufacturing in AISI 304 stainless steel, welded in a single piece with no visible screws or joints, LED lighting, air supply option, and a high degree of customization in dimensions and finishes.

The Tossa hood is part of the temporary exhibition of the ADI Awards, which can be visited free of charge until August 25th at the Disseny HUB Museum in Barcelona.
